I help companies building AI for mental health and wellbeing make products that are clinically sound, safe, and useful to the people using them. I’m a licensed professional counselor and licensed alcohol and drug counselor with an active caseload, so I see every week what happens when people bring their worst moments, their habits, and their stories to something that’s supposed to help them.

In the past year I’ve had five peer-reviewed papers accepted, including in the Journal of Analytical Psychology and the Journal of Humanistic Psychology, among them two frameworks for AI-assisted assessment built around client ownership, optional participation, and non-diagnostic use. I bring that work to product teams as clinical review, safety and risk evaluation, assessment design, and guidance on where engagement turns into dependency.
